Adopted!!!
I was given the name of Daphne because I was picked up as a stray and I couldn’t tell L.E.A.R.N. my name. I come very well to my new name and have learned a few commands. I had not been taught anything before and it is fun to learn new things. Especially when I get treats! My foster mom says I am a real sweetheart and I am also a very pretty golden color. My eyes even match my coat!
We guess I am about 1 1/2 to 2 years old so I have quite a bit of energy but I settle down very nicely. My favorite place to relax would be in your lap. I try to crawl up in my foster mom’s lap. I get my two front legs up and will then lay my head on her shoulder or her lap. I am not allowed to get up any farther than that. Besides, my foster brother gets very jealous and he is too big to get in any body’s lap.
We have gone to the local mall to sell coupon books for one of the stores to help raise money to help dogs just like me. There are always lots of people and kids that come and talk to us. I am very good with everybody that stops to talk to me and pet me. I especially like the lilltle children because they giggle when I give them kisses and I can usually find some crumbs in their laps.
