Hello Lab Lovers!!!
My name is Dakota and I am a 2 year old black lab mix, at least my foster dad thinks I am a mix. But you would not be able to tell by my appearance because I have such a cute labbie face and personality!! I was rescued by animal control and they called the nice people at LEARN to see if there was a foster home available…I hear that LEARN could use more foster homes so they can rescue more labs like myself!!! Anyways, back to me!!! I am kennel and potty trained and I stay in my kennel during the day. I like it in there, it is like my home inside my home. You may hear me bark when you are leaving, but that is my way of telling, “Goodbye!!” When my foster dad gets home in the evening, I get to play fetch with him, play with my 4-legged foster sister, and the best part is I have a rawhide bone as a treat!! When it is bedtime, I lay down on the carpet in the bedroom. I ride very nice in the car (I may whine to ask you to crack open a window for me to sniff all those wonderful outdoor smells.) I recently went to this place call the mall to sell coupon books and I was greeted by so many different people (kids, toddlers, teens, as well as adults and seniors) I was very well behaved. If someone wanted to pet me, I would sit next to them while they scratched my head and ears. It was the best!!!!
