If you think a LEARN dog would be a good fit in your life, please complete an adoption application. We match applicants with the appropriate dog based on our knowledge and experience. If you are interested in a specific dog, please indicate that on your application, but that does not guarantee that dog will still be available once you've completed the application process.

If you have already been approved to adopt a LEARN dog, and you are interested in me, please

Update!!!

Hi Everyone: Hope you are all staying warm. Many of you don’t like the snow and cold but I LOVE IT!!! I love to run after a tennis ball, dive to get it, and come up with a face full of snow. My foster siblings and I could stay out for hours playing but sometimes my foster mom “wimps out” on us and makes us go in. We love to find toys that are buried under the snow.

I wanted to let all of you know my ear infection is doing much better. After medicine, ear flushings, and now ear drops it is almost cleared up. I also get to have free roam of the the house during the day. I am so glad because it was not fun being in a crate all day. I sleep all day to get rested up for “play time”. My foster mom says I have improved 100% on counter surfing. She has even “tested” me and I will leave all items alone.

I am still waiting to find my forever home, could it be with you?

Hi Lab Lovers!

I’m Dakota a 2 year old chocolate female. I was surrendered to LEARN due to my owners not having enough time for me. I was sad at first but ready to find a new home. I have been having so much fun at my foster home. I get to go for long walks, run free in big fields (lots of exciting things for us dogs to check out) and I get to go to the dog park. This is wonderful for me since I am a young active girl who needs daily exercise! I also have a canine sister and brother to hang out with.

Let me tell you a few things about myself. I know basic commands, have good re-call of leash, walk great on a leash and love to play fetch. I also like to play with squeaky dog toys. I am housebroken and crate trained. Although, I do make some noise when you first put me in the crate. I have figured it out that once I am put in there, my fun is over until my foster mom comes home from work. I have free roam of the house at night. I have a great personality and love everyone I meet. I am also good with kids. I lived with a 6-month old baby in my previous home. I get along great with other dogs.

I do need to work on what my foster mom calls “counter surfing” but my foster mom told me I am learning that is not a polite. I have a terrible ear infection which is improving with medicine. What a bonus…..I get medicine to make my ears feel better and I get a piece of lunch meat.

If you would like to learn more about me, please contact LEARN. I can’t wait to meet you.
