Hi My name is Cosmo. I am a 7 month old yellow lab mix. I am a beautiful butterscotch color. I was found as a stray and wound up at the humane society. A nice lady from LEARN saw how adorable and sweet I am and gave me the best New Year’s present ever! A warm foster home with lots of love!
I love to fetch balls and play in the snow. I am great with the two dogs that live here. I like to chase them around in the yard. My foster parents do not have a fence and I stay around wonderfully in the yard. I even come back when I’m called. I’m not so sure about the cats because they hiss at me alot. I live with a human toddler who I also really like alot. I don’t jump on him or nip him or knock him down. I like to follow him around. I also do not chew on his toys or anything that is not a toy for me. I am not a countersurfer and have good house manners.
I love to snuggle with people and love everyone that I meet.
Since I am a puppy, I would benefit from an obedience class to teach me basic commands and to bond with my new owner. I am very smart and will catch on fast! I am working on crate training. I don’t always want to go in but once I am in I settle. I respond to “Do you want to go outside?” and I know “Sit”. I will need an owner dedicated to giving me daily exercise.
