Hi! My name is Cooper, and I am a very handsome 2 year old black male. My previous owner had an accident and could no longer care for me, so I am looking for a new family to call my own!
Not to brag, but my foster Mom says I’m a great dog. I am a tall Labrador, with an athletic build. I am full of fun and energy, but I settle very nicely in the house (my foster Mom really likes that!). I love all kinds of toys and am a great retriever. I am very agile too, and can do things like catch Frisbees on the fly.
I am great with other dogs. Currently I live with 2 canine sisters. One of them is older, and I don’t bother her at all. My other canine sister is my age and we like to play with each other. We will wrestle, chase each other around the yard, and even fetch toys together. I am also great at the dog park, very friendly with dogs of all sizes. And I even get to go to doggie daycare occasionally (the staff really likes me too!)
Not only am I smart (I know most of the basic commands and I walk well on a leash), but I also learn quickly. I love to go for car rides too. I am house trained (I’ve never had an accident in my foster home) and also crate trained. Currently, my foster Mom keeps me in the crate when no one is home. At night I sleep quietly in the bedroom.
Like any young Lab, I will require a good dose of exercise every day, but since I love to play and am good with other dogs, that will be easy! If you are looking for a sweet, fun, loving companion, ask about Cooper!
