Adopted!!!

Hi . . . I’m Chrissy, a classy looking 1 year old yellow lab mix.

You’ll notice just how cute I am from my pictures. Since there’s no need to say more about that, I’ll tell you a bit about me . . .

I’m an owner surrender. I guess I was too active for them. Well, I am a Labrador, and I’m not even one-year old yet, so I do love to play a lot – - fetch and tug-of-war are my favorites. I also spent about a week with Dewey (another LEARN Rescue) and we had loads of fun playing together, eating together, sleeping together, and riding in the car together.

I like to go on walks and do well on a leash. I also enjoy riding in the car, especially when my foster parents take me to play fetch at the tennis courts. I’ve spent a few hours in my crate several times without any problem. While I’m in the crate, I keep busy by enjoying a peanut butter and treat-filled Kong popsicle . . . so yummy!

I am discovering and learning new things everyday (some good, some not so good . . . yikes. . . as I am quite the curious one). Even though I still have a lot of “puppy” energy, I have learned to sit and wait for my food (whew! . . . that was a tough one – trying to be so patient – but I can do it!). I can even take my treats nicely! I am getting better at “drop it” and “down,” too. If I join your family, we will have so much fun going to obedience school so that I can please you even more!

Oh, and I do like to cuddle – I think I’m a lap dog! I have a lot of love and kisses to give to YOU!
