Hello Labadeers!
My name is Chester and I’m a newbie here at LEARN. I am a tremendously lovable 6 year old chocolate male who is looking for a family to call all my own. Seems my previous owners didn’t have enough time for me (I guess), and ended up at a shelter over the holidays—-but was busted ‘outta the big house by a super nice lady from LEARN, just in time to start enjoying a much better 2008!
I am really enjoying my stay at my foster home and my foster parents tell me I am a super good boy! They say I am an excellent house guest too which makes me wag my tail even more! I am quiet and calm in the house, I am housebroken, ride extremely well in the car, I get along with other dogs (even my foster sister who can kind of grind my beans a little) and I seem fine with the kids at the dogpark too.
They said at the shelter I have a “slight interest in cats” so my foster parents are not too sure I should be in a home with them. I know lots of commands and even learned a new one called “Wait” which I got the hang of just after a couple days! I listen very well and really want to please. I also do very well in my kennel and am quiet as a mouse in there. In the morning, when my foster parents let me out, I don’t even get up until they open the door. Talk about patient!
