Buster

Adopted!!!

My name is Buster and I am a black lab mix. I’ve been hanging out with my foster home for a while and I thought that I would update you on all of the cool things that I have learned and what my foster home has learned about me.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE (did I say LOVE) to play fetch. My foster brother does not like to share the tennis ball so I only get that when he is not around. But some friends pulled out a Frisbee and boy is that fun and best of all, my foster brother does not like it. It is all me with the Frisbee, I am even getting good enough to catch it in the air some of the time. Some of the pictures of me with my tongue hanging out are after playing a good game of Frisbee – doesn’t my tongue look cool. It goes back to normal size after I cool down.

I’ve been working on training, which is okay, not as fun as the Frisbee but my foster mom says good manners are important too. I know how to sit, down, walk on a loose leash, shake (a trick is always a good thing to have), wait at the door, kennel up and we are working on stay. I also have a pretty good recall and will come running if you call my name.

I’m living with a family that has other dogs, a cat and parrots and I get along with everyone. I also get to go to daycare and meet other dogs and people a couple of times a week. Its lots of fun at daycare playing with the other dogs.

Boy, I had a lot to tell you, I’m a little tired now so I’m going to curl up in a ball and take a little nap, maybe I can find someone to cuddle with – I like that too.
