Hey there!
My name is Bear, of the teddy bear variety, and I’m a 7 month old Lab mix. My foster mom thinks I’d make a good hunting dog with the right training because I always have my nose to the ground when we go for walks. I’m a pretty big boy, and I have a nice long tail and floppy ears which I like scratched.
I’m a real snuggly guy. I love to put my head in my foster mom’s lap, look into her eyes, touch noses, and then bury my face under her arms. I love my doggie pillow and sleep there at my people’s feet when they are nearby. I also live with three cats and a dog. I get along great with all of them and I love playing chase and wrestling with my canine foster sister and my pals at the dog park! Oh-I love kids too!! I just love everybody, in fact!
I like being outside and going for walks to burn off my puppy energy, but my foster mom says I’m very well behaved indoors too. I’ve never even tried to sit on the furniture. I’m far too polite for that! I had an accident or two when she first got me but that’s only because they let me have too much water and didn’t know my ‘out’ signal yet!! (How embarrassing!) I love sticks and balls…oh and bones! Yum! I also know come, sit, leave it, and lay down. I’m working on something they call stay, but its hard to wait! I’m also crate trained, I love sleeping in it! It’s like my own little cave.
