UPDATE: Meet my boys! (see picture below) They are almost 6 weeks old and growing like weeds! Clarence and Wally are going to be huge. All of my boys are very sweet and cuddly. Don’t let their angelic faces fool you, though. They still get into all the typical puppy mischief.
UPDATE: I had a surprise for my foster home – I didn’t come alone. I had three puppies on April Fool’s day! I will have to stay with my puppies until the end of May. Please check back for further updates on all of us. My foster mom will send pictures of the boys when they’re a little older =)
Hi everyone my name is Bailey. I have just been saved from a kill shelter by my new friends at LEARN. It was a long ride to my foster home but it sure was worth it. I now have other dogs and a cat to play with and a nice clean crate to sleep in.
I think I am about 2 years old and as you can see from my pictures had puppies recently (don’t worry they found new homes already). Perhaps you can’t tell in the picture but I am on the short and stocky side with a big thick tail and beautiful dark chocolate fur. So far I have been able to show my foster mom and dad that I can walk nicely on a leash, but am not real crazy about the cars when they go whizzing by us, I don’t know how to sit or lay down on command but with a little help I am learning. I am house and crate trained and get along with the other dogs and the cat. I also love to get my hair brushed – my mom says I behave better than the other dogs do when they get brushed.
The shelter where I came from gave me my name, Bailey but my mom thinks it should be Shadow, I follow her everywhere. If you are looking for your shadow maybe I could help you find it.
