Spotlight: Cozmo
I tore my ACL. I had my surgery to repair my ACL and now I’m on the road to recovery. I am 3 weeks into my 12 week rehab. I guess you wouldn’t be surprised to hear I also have a thyroid problem. But hey, that’s small potatoes; I get this cheap little blue pill daily, no big deal. My last check up gave me a good T4 (that’s doctor talk for thyroid panel) results.

Spotlight: Monty
Monty here! I am looking for a special home that can help me learn the ropes of a special needs dog, as I am blind. I am heart worm positive too but I have made it though my first treatment without much trouble. I have two more to go and then I have to have my cataracts checked to see what can be done. If nothing can be done that is OK too because blind dogs see with their heart and are worth loving. That is for sure!

Brandy: Torn ACLs
Hi, It’s me Brandy again. Yes, I’m laid up again. This time the doctor did what he called a TTA on my leg. Bolts and screws and plates and I don’t know what all! Underneath my bandage is a cast to keep me from bending my leg until the bone has had time to heal. Luckily I have been dieting, have to watch my figure you know, and my foster daddy was able to pick me up and carry me in to my favorite spot. At long last, I don’t know what they were waiting for, I was served my first meal in 21 hours! Well I have to go now, I have some serious sleeping to do. Woof! Woof!
