Below is a link to a petition for the Pet Facilities Law which will be presented to WI Legislators. The Pet Facilities Law is intended to put an end to the deplorable living conditions in puppy mills and resultant suffering by dogs unfortunate enough to have to live in puppy mills. Wisconsin has become quite a haven for puppy mills.

LEARN has rescued many products and victims of puppy mills. Mill dogs have never been socialized, are afraid of everything and often have permanent emotional scars. Quite often they have permanent physical scars resulting from their stressful days spent in a mill. You can find much more information at the link below.

Please take a moment to visit the Wisconsin Puppy Mill Project, Inc and then select "Please sign the petition in support of the Pet Facilities Law"(on the left side) to sign the petition.

If you'd prefer to print a form letter and send it to your representatives, here's how:

Download and print out the petition below, and send it to your representatives in an effort to support the reintroduction of the Pet Facilities Law which will help regulate puppy mills. The website listed at the bottom of the form will help you find your reps' names & addresses. Very simple process, but potentially a lot of impact if we all send this form. Please help. Do it for the dogs who spend their entires lives in cages until they're too old to breed anymore and then are carelessly cast out or destroyed.
